Research indicates yoga is safe and has many benefits for pregnant people and their growing babies. With a multifaceted approach, yoga encourages stretching, mental centering and focused breathing and can be particularly helpful on the journey of pregnancy and parenthood.

Learn how to take the worry out of teaching a pregnant student and learn prenatal yoga basics to be safe, knowledgeable and helpful in your teaching.

In this class you will learn:

  • Basic anatomy of the pregnant body

  • Basic "Do's and Don'ts”

  • Appropriate variations to well-known poses

  • How to adjust Sun Salutations

  • Yoga benefits for birth preparation
